Kranji is a suburb in northwestern Singapore located about 22 kilometres (15 miles)from the city centre.
Kranji is named after a local tree, the Kranji or Keranji (Dialium indicum, Velvet tamarind). Its abundance has rapidly dwindled since the first half of the nineteenth century.
It is now a prime residential area comprising mostly stand-alone properties. There are no towering apartment blocks, unlike most suburbs of Singapore. It is also an industrial area.

上个周末这个时候，和经图在林厝港、蔡厝港和克兰芝游车河，一个星期就这么匆匆过，这些照片也都成为历史。
很喜欢这个公园里的高大树木，还有那一小片红树林，经图说，下回可以带本书还有点心来这边消磨一个下午，这建议是不错，但是，无车阶级的我应该不会独自来这里吧？！

What a waste trip...they are just about 15 minutes drive away from the Kranji area that u have been.

我们经过Sungei Buloh，当天，由于计划跑多个地方，而Sungei Buloh是我很喜欢的地方，不想走马看花参观，过一阵子会到那儿作重点游。以前到过，受不了被蚊子叮。
